Customize Vanity Domain Link in Appeal Emails

The client has customized their OPSCOM URL to https://parking.[client].edu. However, the appeal submission emails currently link to the default domain, https://[client].ops-com.com, which is hardcoded in the system. The client requests the ability to customize this link to reflect their vanity domain, ensuring brand consistency and a smoother user experience.

Challenges and Proposed Solutions:
  1. Dynamic Domain Insertion: The system needs to dynamically insert the client's vanity domain into the email instead of the hardcoded link.
  2. Domain Configuration: A mechanism is required for clients to configure their preferred vanity domain, potentially through a settings page or API.
  3. Default Domain Selection: To address the challenge of selecting the correct domain for various clients, people suggest allowing users to set a default domain. This would enable most users to retain the standard XYZ.ops-com.com format, while others could opt for their vanity domain.
  4. Pick List: Alternatively, a pick list could offer clients a choice between the default domain and their configured vanity domains for use in email communications.
